He built his career with Detroit Diesel Corporation, MTU Detroit Diesel, Tognum AG, and Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG. His progressive leadership roles included Director of Business Development at MTU Detroit Diesel, Regional Director for North America at Tognum America, and CEO of MTU Middle East FZE while living in Dubai. Schwedland has served on the Board of Directors for Royce Power Systems subsidiaries in Turkey and South Africa. Most recently, he served as CEO of EPIX, a Weir and MTU company focused on complete power systems for the pressure pumping industry.
